The Prodigal Ministry

Are you called into Ministry?

Have you been comparing your Ministry to another?

Have your Ministry been distanced from God?

You know many times our actions are not easily assessed by us but it is by others.  The Prodigal was a determinant.  He knew exactly what he wanted and how he wanted to be treated or seen.  The winning lesson about this is that, sometimes we believe we know everything including ourselves but life have proven itself, we do not know everything.

What Ministry are you leading in which you are autocratic?

The Prodigal was rebellious and was distanced from his Father, they had an estranged relationship.  One that was fueled by lies, pretense, carnality, power, position, status, lust for great things.

Prodigal means, ‘Recklessly wasteful

You know our Ministries should never be a ground for quarrels and pretense.  Our Ministry should always reflect God.  The only way a character or style may be captured, is if you know your target.  You must know who the Father is to demonstrate a close and intimate relationship that you may be a reflection of your Father like wise your Ministry.

Have your Ministry burning the ‘Self Righteous Gas?’

Have you been studying your Father enough to know him?

Have you been subtracting the Holy Spirit from your Ministry?

The Prodigal took time a really long time before he really got it!  Conviction would have him surrendered.  Conviction would have it that he nolonger runs.

The Prodigal hidden trait is  running and assumptions.  Most Ministries to date have assumed their current positions, they have appointed themselves long before God even appointed them due to envy, grudge, impatience, power-lust and the list goes on.

Have you been receiving instructions or corrections from God that you have been side stepping?

The Prodigal suffered because of his disobedience.  The word of God said it, ‘ Disobedience is worst than witchcraff.’

Any Ministry that operates without God is operating an illegal entity in the Kingdom of God.  Just like the Prodigal, it took a delayed respond to obedience= disobedience.

Is your Ministry feeding on the meat of the world or wickedness?

It is not too late.  You can change Prodigal!

You can decide to turn!  You can decide to RETURN.  Return to your first love.  The Prodigal had no respect for his Father.

Is there a Ministry that you decided not to share with your leaders?

Are you a Prodigal Ministry? It wasn’t too late for Prodigal to return to his Father.  It is not too late for your Ministry to take a turn.  It is not too late to be reconciled with God.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus cleanse me from all unrighteousness.  Purge me from the Spirit of rebellion and cause me to surrender to your will in Jesus name, Amen
